The ideal candidates will have graduated high school by February 2020. Limited financial aid is available for applicants from Latin American countries or who have strong ties to Latin America (by Latin America we mean Latin America and The Caribbean). Other global applicants are welcome to apply!

tuition fees and financial aid
Tuition, Room and Board:
Inaugural cohort members will benefit from a heavily discounted and subsidized full-fee cost of US$6,000 for the 3-Month Academy. This payment will cover all tuition plus housing and food expenses in Medellín (excluding flights, visas, vaccines, health insurance and other pre- or post-travel expenses). This below-cost pricing will only be available for this inaugural cohort, reflecting the contribution you/they will make to shaping LALA’s Academy.
Thanks to the generosity of our donors, all applicants who apply in Round 1 and 2 are eligible for an immediate US$1,500 scholarship to celebrate their courage in joining this novel initiative. Therefore, inaugural cohort members who apply before September 10, 2019 will pay a maximum of US$4,500.
To celebrate LALA's two-year journey, LALA Bootcamp alumni are eligible for an additional US$1,500 scholarship, leaving their full-tuition at US$3,000.
● We are committed to making LALA accessible to Latin America’s most promising young leaders. We will work with every admitted student to ensure they can afford their time at LALA and graduate debt-free.
● At the same time, our funding is limited. We therefore expect admitted students to seek support from their near and extended family, to mobilize their community through fundraising, and to explore other entrepreneurial initiatives (we will provide support and guidance on this fundraising challenge).
● We will consider all timely applications for financial aid. However, very limited scholarships are available at this time beyond the already-discounted tuition being offered.
